ZCSWorking principle of flange solenoid valve (cast iron) for water:
This valve is a pilot operated solenoid valve for secondary opening, mainly composed of a pilot valve and a main valve. The main valve adopts a rubber sealing structure. When in the constant position, the movable iron core seals the pilot valve port, the pressure inside the valve chamber is balanced, and the main valve port is closed. When the coil is energized, electromagnetic force is generated to attract the movable iron core, causing the medium in the main valve chamber to leak out from the pilot valve port, resulting in a pressure difference. The diaphragm or valve cup is quickly lifted, and the main valve port opens, opening the valve. When the coil is powered off, the magnetic field disappears, the movable iron core resets, the pilot valve port is closed, and after the pressure inside the pilot valve and main valve chamber is balanced, the valve is closed again.

ZCS water solenoid valve with a diameter of 15-100 is a diaphragm type pilot operated solenoid valve for secondary opening, and a diameter of 125-300 is a pilot operated solenoid valve for tertiary opening. Its structure mainly consists of a secondary valve and a main valve. According to the different switch states during power outage, it can be divided into normally closed solenoid valves and normally open solenoid valves. Normally closed solenoid valve, when in the constant position, the movable iron core seals the auxiliary valve port, the pressure inside the valve chamber is balanced, and the auxiliary valve and main valve ports are closed. When the coil is energized, electromagnetic force is generated: it attracts the movable iron core, opens the auxiliary valve, and the medium in the main valve chamber is guided from the outside of the main valve, causing a pressure difference between the upper and lower parts of the main valve cup. The diaphragm or valve cup is quickly lifted and the main valve port is opened, and the valve is in a passage state.
When the coil loses power, the magnetic field disappears, the movable iron core resets, and the secondary valve port is closed. Then, the pressure inside the secondary valve and the main valve cup rises, and the main valve cup presses against the valve seat, and the valve is closed again.
A normally open solenoid valve generates magnetic force when the coil is energized. The armature moves downwards under the action of the magnetic force, pushing the auxiliary valve cup downwards and closing the auxiliary valve. As the pressure difference between the upper and lower parts of the main valve cup tends to be equal, the main valve cup moves from self pressure to the sealing surface, and the valve closes. When the coil is powered off, the magnetic force is zero, and the armature valve cup rises due to the spring action. The auxiliary valve opens, and the medium in the main valve cup flows away through the auxiliary valve, causing the pressure to drop. When the pressure drops to a certain value, the main valve cup rises upward due to the pressure difference between the upper and lower parts, and the main valve opens.

1. When installing, the solenoid valve coil should be facing upwards and kept in a vertical position. The arrow or mark on the solenoid valve should be consistent with the flow direction of the pipeline and should not be installed in areas with splashing or leaking water.
2. The working medium of the solenoid valve should be clean and free of particulate impurities. The dirt and filters on the surface of the solenoid valve components should be cleaned regularly.
3. When the solenoid valve malfunctions, it is best to install a bypass device (as shown in Figure 1) in order to isolate the solenoid valve in a timely manner and ensure the normal operation of the system.
4. In the pipeline system, the diameter of the solenoid valve installed on the branch should be smaller than that of the main pipeline valve (as shown in Figure 2).
5. Before installing on the solenoid valve, the pipeline must be cleaned thoroughly. It is recommended to install a filter in front of the valve and a drain valve in the steam pipeline.
6. The valve should not be installed in a low concave part of the pipeline to avoid hindering its operation due to the sedimentation of steam condensate, impurities, etc. inside the valve.
7. The regular type cannot be used in explosive hazardous environments.
8. In the case of insufficient rigidity of the pipeline, it is recommended to fix the pipeline in front of the valve with a bracket to prevent vibration caused by the operation of the solenoid valve.
9. Before installation, it is important to carefully read the product label and user manual to determine if the product meets the usage requirements.
10. Pressure gauges need to be installed on the pipelines before and after the solenoid valve to observe the pipeline pressure.
